The DSRD is the major funder of Basi as a Non Government, not for profit organisation. The NSW Government provides funding to enable Basi to provide services to small business relating to starting a business, growing a small business.
Parramatta City Council and its Economic Development Partnerships support the economic expansion through a special initiative of the Parramatta Economic Developments Partnership Plan. (PEDP).
Basi is pleased to be a member of the Plan and has partnered with the Council on many projects such as
Basi currently has received Parramatta Council funding relation to Succession Planning for Small Business and relating to the economic effect of retirement on the number of businesses in the Parramatta LGA and the flow down effect on the workforce.
Through its Economic Development Division Blacktown City Council focuses on the business and its expansion in the Blacktown LGA. Its major city centres are Blacktown City and Mt Druitt. Basi has been closely involved wit the Economic Development Team over the last 7 years and has worked with Blacktown and particularly of late, stimulating sustainability programs for Blacktown large businesses in conjunction with the DECC.
NRMA provides services for motorist in NSW. One of its many services is the provision of insurance and NRMA has just teamed with Basi to assist in the delivery of a specially created package of insurance benefits to fit the small business profile.
