Steven Shepherd joined Sensis in September 2000, bringing with him twenty years’ of experience in Economic analysis and government relations. At Sensis he is responsible for the Sensis Market Intelligence Group which takes Sensis intelligence and insight to market.

Steven is also author of the Sensis® Business Index, as well as a contributor and commentator of other Special Reports, including the Sensis® e-Business Report. He is currently undertaking a range of presentations across Australia on the latest economic trends and impacts on business decision-making.  Steven holds a Masters Degree in economics from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Bachelor of Business (Economics/Quantitative Methods) from Swinburne University.

Steven Shepherd, Chief Economist at Sensis® will provide highlights of the economic turnaround and the benefits to western Sydney particularly Parramatta and the greater western region (including Bankstown, Blacktown, the Hills and Liverpool/Fairfield regions) and the opportunities in this area for employment, building, professional services and other related industries.  

He will also provide specifics from the Sensis data warehouse on changing demands for services in this region as a result of government policies, and economic trends.
